PEI Writes and Fierce Ink Press Presents a Panel on The New Face of Publishing

Charlottetown, PE (Aug 12, 2013) —  Fierce Ink Press is proud to sponsor a panel on the new face of publishing at Confederation Centre Public Library from 6:30 until 8pm on Tuesday, August 20th. The publishing industry is changing daily, tricky waters for a writer to navigate. The panelists hope to shed some light on the evolving industry and answer any questions writers may have.

The panel consists of award-winning young adult author Patti Larsen, freelance editor Annetta Ribken, graphic designer Christina Gaudet and Fierce Ink Press publishing executive Colleen McKie. With such a diverse panel, all elements of the publishing industry will be covered.

“It's a great opportunity for anyone curious about publishing,” says McKie. “It's not often that you get four people, all working in different aspect of the industry, in the same room. Potential authors have a chance to get the inside scoop on everything from writing to editing to cover design to working with a publisher.”

The panel is free and open to the general public.  There will also be the opportunity to purchase books written or published by the panelist.
