Culture PEI issues RFP’s for Research Projects

Culture PEI is requesting proposals from consultants for three research projects to be conducted this fall and winter. The deadline for submissions is September 12, 2014.
The three projects are:

1. 2015 Discipline-specific Labour Market Study. Research, prepare and survey culture sector employers and employees in specific disciplines to identify labour/skill shortage and industry education requirements in the next five years.

2. 2015 Certification Opportunities Study. Study and analyse a certification system within the cultural sector across the province. Create an inventory of expected standards for certain discipline to ensure safety and improve the quality of the workplace.

3. 2015 Career Pathways Reports. Develop career documents for students considering post-secondary education. The documents focus on four culture sector disciplines to identify industry requirements, employment options and income expectations.

Each RFP is being issued separately but Culture PEI will also consider proposals that combine any or all of these projects. The full RFP’s can be found on the News page of Culture PEI’s website at http://culturepei.ca/news.html

Culture PEI is looking for the best possible proposals so it encourages interested consultants to contact executive director, Mark Sandiford, directly to discuss the projects.
